Mr. Shah approached our design team with the vision of transforming her newly purchased 3BHK flat into a modern and elegant living space while ensuring that costs remained within a well-defined budget. Our challenge was to design a home that not only met her expectations but also optimized the available space efficiently without unnecessary extravagance.
Design Approach
Mrs. Shah desired a home that exuded modern elegance with a minimalist touch, yet remained highly functional and spacious. Smart storage solutions were a key priority, along with selecting cost-effective materials that maintained a high-end aesthetic. With these goals in mind, we embarked on our design journey, focusing on careful planning and creative execution.
The first phase of the project involved space planning and optimizing the flat’s layout. We conducted extensive discussions with Mrs. Shah to understand her lifestyle, preferences, and daily needs. The existing layout was carefully analysed to develop a functional floor plan that allowed for an easy flow between spaces while maintaining an uncluttered ambiance.
To achieve a luxurious yet budget-friendly look, we focused on using smart design strategies. The walls were painted in light, neutral colours to make the space feel larger and more open, while accent walls in key areas like the living room and master bedroom added a touch of sophistication. For flooring, vitrified tiles and laminate wood were chosen for their durability and elegance, ensuring both practicality and style.
The living room was designed to be both stylish and welcoming. A sleek TV panel with storage was incorporated to maintain a clutter-free look, while a dark blue coloured sofa provided a cozy and inviting feel. Minimalist MS frame shelves were added to enhance the space without making it feel overcrowded.
In the kitchen, we opted for a modular design with glossy-finish Acrylic, which offered both functionality and a modern aesthetic. A combination of open shelves and closed cabinets ensured an organized and efficient space, while quartz countertops provided durability and easy maintenance. Thoughtful placement of lighting enhanced the overall appeal of the kitchen, making it a practical yet stylish area of the home.
For the Master bedroom, we prioritized comfort and efficient use of space. Sliding wardrobes with back painted doors were installed to create a luxurious felling while providing ample storage with back painted PU finish panelling and use of Venner to enhance the look of their Masted room. A simple yet elegant headboard design added character to the master bedroom, complemented by smart lighting solutions that created a warm and relaxing ambiance.
